Any good stories about being a caregiver to someone with arthritis?

My husband was diagnosed with JRA at 11. He has had 4 surgeries since we have been married. We have been married 3 years. His hands are deformed and he has difficulties reaching the ground without a reacher. I am looking for some inspiration and courage.
